Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a Canadian-born British actress most well-known for her performance in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In 2008 and 2010, she reprised the character in the two films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She is also known for her role as the lead in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. The name Kim Cattrall and the first thing that strikes the mind is her character in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO TV comedy Sex & the City. Cattrall, a noted actor, has acknowledged her role as Samantha Jones as a career-defining performance. This sitcom turned Cattrall into an instant star not just for the audience in her own town and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is mostly known for her part in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film was given an Oscar as well as the Golden Palm by the Cannes Film Festival. The film had also been a commercial as well as critical recognition. Her birthplace was in Skane, Sweden and did modeling before she embarked on her acting career. The crown was awarded to her Miss Sweden. In the US the actress began to appear in films with small roles. She was the Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut credits role. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after playing in the film Blood Alley.
